WHO WE ARE
Decade of Family (DoF) is an initiative of UnicitySA.
Our mission is to connect families with basic needs to survive, practical needs to thrive, and specialized skills to flourish.
We believe that strong cities are built by strong communities, and strong communities start with strong families. By meeting families where they are and bridging the gap for resources, we aim to empower families to grow stronger than ever.
In this ten-year span, from 2020-2030, we will continue to provide families greater access to the help, advice, support, and encouragement they need that will serve the greater good of their families, our communities, and our city.
WHO WE HELP
All families who are struggling with issues related to family dynamics, parenting, marriage, addiction, etc., as well as families who value the tools needed to continue providing a strong, loving environment for future generations.
OUR PLAN

Listen diligently to families and community leaders across all sectors including professionals, philanthropists, government officials, faith leaders, educators, and nonprofit administrators.

Gather and understand the greatest felt needs and pain points that families experience across the city.

Equip our community with resources and training needed to fully support families to flourish.
